I'm sure you've seen the photos of cars at night taken with slow shutter speeds with their lights turning into lines of red and yellow. These photos can be very profitable and worth some good money.
To take photos of cars at night you will need a tripod and a camera that lets you control the shutter speed. Hopefully you already have both.
You will need a long exposure to get this effect done right. The slow shutter speed is what causes the lights from the car to blur.
Be sure to try different variations such as a vertically oriented shot and horizontally oriented shot. Also, try to leave space for ad text. Some people may want to purchase your photo but don't see any space for ad text and thus go to another photo with ad text.
A good alternative can be to take pictures of other moving objects with lights at night rather than cars. Go to an airport and take pictures with a slow shutter speed. Go to a bridge where many cars pass through and many boats pass under. That will make a very interesting photograph.
